Nelson is widely known and respected in the hospitality industry as a result of his experience gained in heritage, leisure and visitor attractions including The Royal Opera House, The National Portrait Gallery, Mansion House and The Hurlingham Club. Nelson’s unrivalled expertise in this iconic sector influences the way in which we work in Citrea to create customer-focused, authentic, fresh food dining experiences that we are proud to deliver for our clients. It’s his passion in education that drives Citrea to make a positive impact on each and every child as we shape and influence their love of food.

“With real belief in learning, I’m passionate about food and its stories – how we produce, consume and find out more about it.”

Aston paid his way through university in Melbourne, Australia by working in restaurants. That became his life and creating beautiful food his ambition. He worked his way up, from restaurant to restaurant, in one of the world’s culinary hotspots. He then continued his education and career in London as executive chef at a group of restaurants. His aim now is to influence the food journey taken by young people in the independent school sector where he has worked for the last 15 years, including TASIS England.
